The Czech-English text is complemented by period photographs from the life of Tomas Bata. The author outlines the basic principles of the Bata management – profit participation, autonomy of workshops , Bata public service, wealth for everybody etc. in short well-arranged chapters. Some of the texts by Tomas Bata which were available only in archives are published here for the first time – reflection on banks and memorandum on the prime minister and regional politics.
